Help With Campaign Mod

Hi,

I am trying to do a very simple MOD for the vanilla Campaign.

Basically I have WWE installed and I want to make hiigaran able to build Battlecrabs and Spitfires from mission 1. It's meant to be a fun cheat. I did the same with Homeworld 1 ... just watched the Shadows destroy the Taiidan.

I am obviously doing something wrong though 'cos it is not working.

(i) I installed and patched Homeworld 2.
(2) I extracted and decompiled the Hiigaran Build script, then cut and paste the Battlecrab and Spitfire entries from the Minbari Build script. I set DisplayPriority = 0.
(3) I started a new campaign. The ships did not appear as build options. What else do I need to do?

Sorry about the late reply. I hadn't noticed this topic.

I'm not sure what would be needed to get it working like so. I usually just place the ships I want in the persist file that tells the game which units you start a mission with. This approach works from mission 2 and on.

If you really want the ships to be buildable, try looking for an answer on the relicnews forum. There's a huge knowledge database there if you look through old posts.
