The (hardly) secret project is revealed.....

Now when a ship is created it exits (as best as possible with the HW2 engine...) a jumppoint created near the build ship. It's not perfect but its as close as HW2 will allow.

It's currently setup for the Minbari Orb Station on the SVN, give it a try and tell me what you think. I'll add it to the other ships when I get the time. Yep, the spawn award control points will be getting similar treatment.

INCREDIBLE! Once again Cnl, you have outdone yourself.

After giving it a test ingame, I have a question/suggestion for improvement:

Some ships build faster than the jumppoint can let them exit. Is it possible to let the point stay open and let several ships exit before it closes again?

That would streamline the process quite a bit.

Thanks! :)

Once the build times and cost are set properly it won't be a problem TONV. It would be very difficult to script it to stay open, I did think about how to do it for quite some time. The effect works with a lot of careful timing. Using the madstates to trigger effects rather than mad animations, though some mad anims are also used.

Oh, I don't know if anyone noticed but I fixed the Hyperion's door animations as well.
