Nice! It's so refreshing having someone else do the modeling/texturing for a change. :) If it wont last then we have to get as much out of you as we can, as quickly as we can. :D

I like they way the GOD Sat looks now. What does it look like without the big laser? I've always imagined that the laser would be an upgrade or a subsystem you had to build separately.

The god sat was kind of built around the laser weapon, it would look odd removing it. Anyway, even without its main beam the god sat packs much too much of a punch for ships early on.

I've got a beginnings of a smaller non-canon defence satellite for the early game. One or two small missile pods, two anti fighter cannons (olympus guns) and a main plasma cannon (upgradable). Styled like the olympus/hyperion.

Ok, a rebuild from better reference has yielded this at 6023 polys which I'm happier about. I have a lod0 at about 8k but that's high. This has had a poly reduction run on it and it doesn't look too bad. I'm sure it'll be fine after texturing.
