Looks like the White Star won't be having it all it's own way, then ;)

you know, I was wondering, why not use a solid black texture for shadow stuff, that could maintain an evil feeling aganst the background of space?

ya know, to maitain the evil feeling "something is there but I cant quite see it" emotion that the ships alwas brought to the show, besides I thought the only resone the veins stood out was because they reflected light well thats my 2 cents any way

good job anyway, looks good

Thats a nice thought, it's still just a WIP so I'll definatly be tweaking the textures.

But remember, the Shadow ships are alive in some way, so those veins may stand out because they're actually veins... or arteries, or whatever... ;)

It's tough in a game environment, with the restrictions on textures and lighting, to mimic the Shadow skins, but I would say the Omega-X here is maybe a tad too metallic, and the veins probably do stand out a bit much. Just my opinion, YMMV. :)

Just remember that the Omega-X is an ordinary Omega frame with Shadow "skin" grafted on, so it'd make sense that it looks a bit metallic.

it looks purdy. I gotta say though, I agree that the textures could be a tad bit darker. Otherwise it looks kick ass! So.... when's the demo coming out?:D

A while to go as a couple of ships have to added and I have to add the build, research scripts for those ships and then we have to then balance the mod before a release version will appear afaik...
