The Minbari Challange....

Post by Zeelich » Sat Jul 21, 2007 12:00 pm

Hey guys. Got a challange for ya. There are two non-canon Minbari ships I'd like to include in the Minbari war release, the Torotha and aother one, damn I've forgotten the name. Big slug like carrier. Hmmm, I'll have to have a look around.

Anyway, I couldn't recreate the meshes in any acceptable form, hence the challange. :) I need someone to model these ships for me. I'm not stressed about poly count, although don't go too nuts (Below 12000 if possible) and no need to worry about textures, those I can do. I just need the mesh.

Anyone up to the challange?

EDIT; It's the Morshin carrier I'm thinking of.

For some odd reason I have never made a Minbari ship - nothing like a challenge...

Both of those ships are just down right nasty Z :P even if it's as bland as hell the B5 TC carrier had more spunk then that & it is a far easier task to model. Actually i still have the original high polly Max model on my comp. It's to heavy to put in game, but it's good enough for a reference . As for the Torotha it's just as nasty.

This page has some pics of what you want to made as well as some far better frigate choices "cough"

The Velarian was one of the ships i always wanted to put into MVE :) tis a sweet ship & the Valen Zha is not one I've seen before, although it looks dam sexy to. Never thought about a whitish minbari ship.

Yeah, they're kinda ugly, but they fit really well. I need some ships for Carrier and Construction purposes. I don't like the Sharlin building ships. :) I also needed some lightly armed ships. Both fit the bill. Even if they are ugly. :p

The new Minbari ship in Lost tales looks the ticket...
