So did any one ever find out if custom map backgrounds are possible in HW2 ?

Sure. They can be done since a long time, evillejedi used them in his SW-Mod.

Hi,
Do you limit the mod to canon fleet or would you include fanfictional ships?

We're including non-canon ships too.

Ok I'm making one at the moment so perhaps you'd be interested, if you don't have it already. I'll post a couple of pictures in another thread not to pollute this one.

You know, for all the people who are seemingly-constantly viewing this board, there's a frightening lack of posts.

How goes, Z?

Sadly, my comp is still out of commission. Hoping to go down to Austin soon and buy a new HDD. Once I get my comp back online I'll be able to get back to working on the MOD, sadly, nothing has been done in the mean time except for the hyperspace stuff by PGC. So, yeah, things have pretty much stopped dead at the moment. But don't worry, it's only temporary.

Too bad you're on the other side of the earth from me, I'd have been happy to help with the problem. I just got my own PC up and running after an emergency motherboard change 5 minutes ago.

Hope you get it working soon.

Is there anything script wise that needs to be done like a research script for both sides as I can do that for the moment but uploading the big file will take a while though... :( Unless someone is willing to donate their old copy of Lightwave 3D v6.0 to me?
