Top 10 games 2007

Post by bzb » Tue Jan 15, 2008 9:44 am

So, apparently this is the UK’s top ten best selling games of 2007;

1. FIFA 2008 (EA)
2. Dr Kawashima's Brain Training (Nintendo)
3. Call Of Duty 4 (Activision)
4. Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (Konami)
5. More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima (Nintendo)
6. Halo 3 (Microsoft)
7. The Simpsons Game (EA)
8. Wii Play (Nintendo)
9. Assassin's Creed (Ubisoft)
10. WWE Smackdown VS Raw 2008 (THQ)

It is almost depressing that FIFA 2008 has the top spot, its not as if it is a new or inventive game. But then given six of the top ten are sequels it is hardly suprising.

The strange thing is that i dont own any of those games, maybe i should be happy about that!

Of those games, I'd probably only play COD4, Halo 3, and Assassin's Creed. Most of the others... well... I'll leave brain training to someone else.

I played Halo 3 just for the storyline.

The game was alright, but I have to say, the ending was FUCKING EPIC! A great conclusion.

Halo might only have 7-8 for gameplay and such, but it sure as hell deserves a 10 for a very gripping storyline.

*edit* Oh right, played Assassin's Creed. I must say, that also has a good storyline. Was about a quarter of the way through when I stopped (was playing at friends house). The way you woke up and had to find out information in the real world was quite interesting and also, IMO very gripping.

I found myself wanting to know what happened next all the time.
