I still think it looks way too slim to be a carrier.

You can't just drop it in in a mostly non-functional state for looks?

i could, but it would still be a lot of work. i think i'll keep the canon one and use the style one as a heavy cruiser with some minor modifications

Not to drop a bomb on this..but wasnt the Concordia the main carrier in WC-2: The Revenge of the Kilrathi? IMO THAT was a cool looking ship (it was shown briefly as a wreck in the opening scene of WC-3). If there was another Concordia commisioned after WC-3 im unaware of it. I never played WC-4...I started, but never finished it.

These ships you made can still be usefull as escorts or cruisers.

there is a small problem here: there are about 4 ships that either are named concordia or are concordia class.

it basically comes down to a confederation class dreadnaught(about the biggest ship the confeds ever built, with exception of the behemoth) which is named concordia(that's the one from wc2)
and a concordia class carrier, which is the one you get to see in wc4, which is apparently the oldest carrier type in confed fleet and looks exactly like the light carrier in wc3

I just rummaged thru WC:CIC ya your right. It is the Victory or an identical model to the Victory. Still essentially the same ship. I was reffering to the Dreadnought Concordia from WC 2 :)

The original Concordia, of the Concordia class, was destroyed at McAuliffe in 2634. That class of carrier is the one Chevieblazer has modeled here. It was based on the smaller, older Ranger class which is the class of ship the Victory falls under. In 2660, a new class of dreadnought was developed, named the Confederation class, the first of the class was the TCS Confederation. One year later, the second ship of the Confederation class was built and named the Concordia, after the ship lost at McAuliffe. This is the ship we see in WC2, a Confederation class.
