here we have a dralthi launching from a kilrathi battleship, doing a flyby of the hangar pod and then firing its massdrivers(edit massdrivers are yellow like tracer ammo now)
last one is a rare beauty shot of the kilrathi light fighter, the salthi

a drayman and a troop transport got a little too curious
the captain of the ralari thought that was a great idea
but then came the cavalary to punch them out

here you see a snakeir scrambling fighters, which also gives a pretty good view of the hriss heavy fighter
the last pic for today show a first glimpse of the plasma cannon turret, an alternative to the neutron turret. it has a much higher riring rate, but also does a lot less damage

all those meshes and texutres were made/applied in max. i tend to use lw as little as i can.
what we really need is a mission scriptor. would you mind a try?

Well, guess I'd better quit lurking about here and post a bit. Great work with all of this, though I must admit, having never played the first two games that I'm more of a fan of the fighter designs from the later games. Nevertheless, this is a great initiative and once you release something playable, I will definately be downloading it. :D
