I wouldnt assume that students are the only ones with money problems, working fulltime still dosnt give me enough money to survive, yeah £2 saving is great, but whats £2 really, a pint?
And when you're a student, pints are what it's all about :p

Besides, how many farms are there in central Birmingham?

The lower cost offered by the supermarket simply allows tax to have been increased, or we'd all have an ever increasing amount of money left in our pockets at the end of the week, yet i think we know that isnt the case. The long term effect of buying cheap hasnt actually resulted in anyone saving any money but has increased the tax burden.

HUH???? I don't see what taxes have to do with anything. We don't have more money because we spend that money on other things (ie: entertainment, cable, video games, booze, smokes) ;)

All I see is that I do have more money left at the end of the week if I shop in the supermarket, and not in the local grocery store. This in turn increases the amount of pleasure I get out of the money because I can spend more on non-essentials, and thus am in the end, happier.

Although we might be talking about completly different things, here in Canada supermarket food is of great quality (compared to the US at least).

You do know that white text isn't invisible, right?

So much for subliminal messages, I guess...

You have to realize reaper that before posting that I checked who was online :)

I miss the TGU of old, and although I'm sure everyone does, what happened to all the people I knew here? We'll you're still there, but what happened to Garm, Napoleon, Akira, Berserk, the Ancient, Greven? Or Zeelich, all MIA.

lol, well certainly very rare of the old SWNR crowd are about. Of course thats because the modding scene crashed, and I expect few of em didn't see the point in hanging around.

Garm pops his head occassionally in random places, haven't spoken to him tho and its a far cry from SoL in EvR.

Zeelich just dissapeared off the road. And to be honest, i think some ppl changed their handles, so no idea if any of the old guys are about.

Ah well, raise a glass to the old crew
