User-submitted C6 planets

Post by nickersonm » Wed Aug 24, 2005 3:21 am

Well, I'm in the process of leveling the C6 map. I am now taking orders for custom planets (such as Ascherone), and I will add them at my discretion. I'll also change the levels if I think they're inappropriate ;).

Please post your submissions in the following format:
Planet Name (<grid letter><grid number>) (level) <# of moons> <any RUs>
Comments (such as positioning within the grid)

Example:
Zeneriss Sek (U6) (9) 0 none

For grid references, see the attachment. Levels are from 0-12, averaging 5. Moons are self-explanatory, and RUs are any resources from planetary rings, debris belts, etc.

The following lists all added planets from this thread:
  • Zeneriss Sek (U6) (8) 0 none
  • Fhloston (T10) (7) 1 none
  • Terra (AC2) (0) 1 planetary debris ring
  • Aries (AC3) (4) 0 none
  • Zeus (AD2) (0) 3 none

Terra (AC,2) (0) <1> <Lots (alderan-style, only less so, as it got SL'd, but by a ECLP not a DS)>

Aries (AC,3) (4) <0> <none>

Zeus (AD,2) (0) <3-5> <none>

Is it me, or "Terra" sound particularly un-starwars-ish ? "Zeus" also too well-known.
"Aries"... doesn't sound very SW either, but still a bit better than the other two (maybe because I'm no native English-speaker; and not that much into zodiacal signs in English language ?).

"Fhloston"... that comes from a movie, but the name is perhaps less known to "standard" readers, so I don't care as much.

I wouldn't have had him add them, except they're historical EvR planets (this was the cluster which recieved the first planetary SL shot).

I'm open for suggestions for Zeus and Aires, but Terra kind of has to remain as-is ;)
