I have implemented a new feature where the galsim server will automatically run a turn every 4 hrs. I started it at around 11:20 pm ET (GMT-5) and every 4 hrs after that.

well see how well that works.

Also Ill be trying to put together little lessons on how to use different features of the game. Any questions on the game can be posted here for all to see or email me at mark.berneti@bellsouth.com

Umm, I've tried logging in on tripod and all I get is a lot of retries after writing the session to hard drive...

The first time I tried logging in it worked fine, but after looking around the map for 10 minutes i found no ships.
So I re-downloaded the mod from the newest address in "GalSim is now playable and testable".
Then I re-extracted the files, but when I tried to log in again, the session wrote to the hard drive and there was a java language number format exception which was:

500000000000000000500000000000000000.500000000000000000.500000000000000000.500000000000000000.500000000014020448R0.4279460385143714

at 30 or so locations in the program.

ive got another problem, now I cant save my changes, when I try to it comes up with a warning saying my changes weren't made because the turn was changed (I tried saving in turn 22E and the turn after that, and I did reinstall it)

So, simply out of curiosity...

How is EVR going? It looks like it's progressing, albiet slowly. Might be worth me looking back into playing it.
