HODs for effects...

Image

(fiery_fingers_sphere01.hod)

Another converted PEO: a Millenium Falcon model showing usage of DDS alpha channel for team-colour and a duplicated mesh for creating 'double-sidedness' (the radar).

Image

Converting this model was meant for testing the creation of a multi-object HOD, in order to replace the hgn_assaultcorvette, but this has so far been unsuccessful.

What has been successful is drawing a background in VB6 DX8.1

That looks brilliant Swifty !!

Did you replace existing HODs or did you add a new ship-slot? (Starfleet has writen something about that on Relic's forums).

Well at first I just replaced existing ships, then I created a new class altogether. Anywho I made the HOD's from scratch based on the existing one's, going to re-do then all shortly when HWSE2 is out.

Um, this link did bad things when I clicked it. It did take me to the Relic boards. Only thing is it opened up 51 windows doing it. All of them, or at least many since i didnt wait for them all to load, going to the screenies of the ships you put in game.
