As promised here are some DA3 guardian creature sketches I have recently done, three of them were drawn during my vacation on the Canarian Islands (I´ll show you fotos some time later...) :D

The Guardian Multi-Beam frigate will have two massive plasma weapons mounted over the gills as well as a number of missiles fired from below the gills plus two energy beam weapons (shooting from the spheres at the head).
The Ramming frigate will be wickedly fast and probably armed with beam weapons firing 180° to the side from the "eyes" (spheres).
The Hive Frigate hosts a number of cute yet too be developed swarmers in its skull like forward sections :D
And finally my 1st design for a heavy cruiser. Expect it to get beefed up with more weapons then are currently visible on the pic. It´s main armarment will be either four energy weapons or four massive missiles plus some more stuff to back it up. Of course it will be able to take tremendous amounts of fire before going down...but you expected that or? :D ;) Image
Ok I think I gonna start modelling the Ramming frigate first,so stay tuned... Image Enjoy!

Hehe,no wonder, I drew them during my Canarian Island vacation. Below are some fotos taken from the balcony on my hotel room :D On one you can see the Multi beam frig sketch. The beach and ocean was wonderfull, I did alot of snorchling where the rocks are. Lots of big fish there I tell you Image Last pic is the rear view of my hotel showing the Valley Grand Rey (Big King) on the Gomera island thats the only route to the hotel. We climbed the left mountain side one day, goes 700 metres high on a really narrow way  But we made it up and tramped the way back through the valley Image As you can see this area is pretty remote, no mass tourism as on Teneriffa. Looking at those pictures it's easy to see where your inspiration came from; i like the heavy cruiser in particular

So how are the ships coming along? Can't wait to see the units in action. Also are there any plans to design an ion array frigate, sentinel, processor, carrier, and finally mothership?
