This team is amazing. I've been digging through all the old mods on my hard drive, and I'm amazed at the number of ships Dark Age has made, and the creativity of those ships. Most mods are lucky to fill out r1 and r2, but Dark Age 1 had p1, p2, p3, traders, and some derelicts. Dark Age 3 also had many non-buildable slots filled.

Even way back when Meurig wasn't as skilled a modeller as he is now, the ship designs were still great.

Wow SvK, thats quite a compliment! Cheers for that! :D

I was in this team a long time before I even attempted modelling though, the Centauri interceptor in DA1 was my first DA model

I think that's a testimony that will stand for a long time; whilst not entirely basking the mod limelight, like SoA and GW did for a long while, DA was consistently productive and creative, in equal measure...

... and now? Well, Meurig's modelling has come a long way; I imagine we'll be remaining impressed for some time to come.

I've managed to have a positive comment everytime I've made my (infrequent - guilty as charged!) visits to this forum... which is saying something, in itself! :D

I don't know why this thread died; if there was ever a time and a place for some holiday arse-kissing, this was it...

... humbug!

Those of us who know Meurig are just worried about feeding his already planet-sized ego...

J/K, everyone on the DA team is to be commended for the fine work they've done. :D

Looking back, I think I was responsible for around 2/3 of all the DA ship designs/models in total, but that´s just a rough guess ;) Anyway thanks for the flowers :D

Nah, we're geeks - a much more sophisticated animal than the nerd...
