That's right, it's a week late, but it's finally here!

Here is the link: http://www.tgu.org.uk/users/swfa/downlo ... _v8_r1.zip

There are still a number of ships missing, and the Rebel ResearchShip is untextured, but it plays absolutly lovely. :D

Ships include:

For the Rebels....
Y-Wing;
X-Wing;
A-Wing;
YT-1300;
Delta DX9 Transport;
Capture Pod (Mod. Mole Miner)
Bulk Cruiser;
Nebulon-B frigate;
Assualt frigate;
Mole Miner;
Action IV Transport;
Vangaard Gyre e3-A Scout Ship;
Sensor Array;
Probe Capsule;

For the Empire....
TIE Fighter;
TIE Interceptor;
TIE Bomber;
Missileboat;
Delta DX9 Transport;
Capture Pod (Mod. Mole Miner)
Carrack Light Cruiser;
Enforcer Class SD;
Victory Class SD;
Mole Miner;
Action IV Transport;
TIE Vanguard Scout;
Sensor Array;
Probe Capsule;

A good solid list. All new models except the probe Capsule which I simply didn't think was worth redoing.

That's it, please post any bugs you find here. And please, for the love of God, read the ReadMe!

Enjoy, and have fun! Next release soon. Hopefully. :D

EDIT: I've now uploaded the v8 to TheMaw: http://swnr.themaw.net/downloads/swnr_v8_r1.zip

Should be faster.

What an inopportune time! I'm just downloading the 25MB Tribes demo on my parents' dial-up. Now another 12MB?

I'm sure I don't have the hyperspace animations for all those ships done, too.

C'mon, modem! *cracks whip*

I didn't know anyone still used a Dial-Up connection. :D

I was hoping to include the new Hyper-Anims in the next release. So, no hurry.

Simply because its rebel counterpart isn't done yet. Besides, it's a nice change to, for once, have to resort to smaller-ship-tactics, instead of the old "build the biggest ships and wipe out the CPU resistance" games ;) .
