My new Hapan Battle Dragon weighs in at 6638 polys! That's the most polys I've ever used for a single HW ship! Image

I'll have to be very aggressive with the LODing, but there'll never be more than one or two in a map so it shouldn't be too big a problem.

Texture work wont begin for a while, I'm going to try and get all the new meshes in-game first, so I can get SP working properly. That way I can get a new release out and update it as I find the time.

its one of the main ships in the Hapan Navy. you can see it in the book Courtship of Princess Leia as well as some New Jedi Order books such as Dark Journey (japanese cover)

also, ships are usualy refered to as female, so its her role. and im guessing the Hapans will either be the turanic raiders(they have in the past) or the kadeshi(which was chiss in the past)

Actually ships are referred to as neutral, so as "it" unless you're an ubernerd who believes they have souls .

No, Del, traditionally ships are female. Which is unusual as most of the rest of English is nongendered, but ships are an exception.

Zeelich I tried to get my ST:Krenim Temporal Weapon Ship into Hw but it is too detailed at over 9000 triangles and HW crashes when loading a map because of the ship.

What gender ships are referred to depends on your country... IIRC, and this could be totally wrong, but the old Soviet Union's navy used "him" rather than her...

This is not meant to slag off your model, Z, but it doesn't look particularly "dragon" like to me...

True, but that is what it is supposed to look like. Don't blame me! :D

The pic Insecttoid3 posted proves it. It's good to see I ot it looking so close to perfect.
