What file do i extract into

scrreenshot guide would be helpful or a step by step guide cos i tried everything

I think he means where does he install the mod to to make it work.

And IIRC you just extract/install it straight into your HW1 directory.

yeah the file you download (or should have downloaded) is an auto extracting file, which should automatically install into the homeworld directory. I believe you are given the option to change it from the default ('C:/sierra/Homeworld' iirc) if you installed into a different directory... it is pretty idiot proof (not saying you are an idiot, just saying the installer is "to the point"). so as Tomatowen said, just install into your Homeworld base directory.
