I noticed that on the main site there isn't much of a selection of screenshots to see from the mod itself, so I thought I might be able to offer to send some along as I tend to be a screenshot maniac at times, I have plenty of shots, and some of them are even good! Image

Wolf, if you have taken some good screenies, PLEASE feel free to post them here and I can determine if they are good enough to put up on the site.

After the next release, I do intend to post in game screenies for those that are skeptical about downloading the mod.

Plus, ingame screenies are really a must anyways, so I just might post some myself when I get the chance.

Hey, sorry for posting so late, needed to host my pics.

So I've tried posting twice now, and lost my posts both times because of the image limit (8, and it shouldn't have happened the 2nd time!), so this posting has so far taken me a long time, but oh yeah, that means they're all gonna be links, or most.

Right now I'm going to post a few of the better ones, then I'll post all the links on their own.
large battle
The battle of the SugarDirt scenario, as I played it out at least.
dying hammerhead close up
Cool angle from the dying Hammerhead as seen in first pic.
good shot
This Hammerhead is screwed (it was heading back to the Carrier too!) as seen in the next picture. I figured it was good for the scene itself.
beams
I thought this one showed off the beams ratherly nicely.
good desktop kind of shot
If it wasn't for having that unit still selected (doh!), I could almost see myself using this one as a desktop, lol. (I fixed it too, and it looks good)
cool debris field
Notice the Hammerheads in it? I think it almost looks like a rendered scene, with the light behind it, and being able to just make out the Hammerheads. And it shows off the debris effect too.
explosion
And of course the explosions too.

Off-topic, but has anyone seen this happen before? hehehe
Probe shot
About the probe one... That'd of been the first time I'd seen a probe one strike another unit and die, AND hurt that unit too, so I couldn't pass up including that shot, and I was curious how many have done that too, which is probly a lot, but still its funny to see! [no room for laugh smily :/]

Oh, I also have 2 pics of what may be considered glitches, if you're interested in seeing them sometime too.

Ah ha! So it would turn out smilies count as images too, arg. Image

And a few more shots before the the rest!
Hammerhead under carrier
A large group of Hammerheads just launched from the above carrier, and tho its a bit hard to see the line of them in the background, it looked very cool with tactical overlay on to have a long line of green triangles! But really this pic is for the effect of the ship sizes.
chiggy
chiggy!
large battle again
"stuck in the middle" Image
hammerhead death
"fallen comrade"
hammerhead and big explosion
another angle of the same explosion above.
Angry 128th
If those are "Angry Angels", than is this the "Wrath of God"? hehe.

Unfortunately I have to admit that when I played I preferred to play as Earth Forces... and mostly because the Hammerhead is one of my favorite Sci-Fi ships that I know of, so you may notice that a lot of my screeshots include Hammerheads. So sorry if it seems a there isn't a lot of variety, but I still think some of the shots are still good, and remember that the link may sound boring or dumb, but that doesn't mean its bad! Plz check them out and let me know how they are!

Also, I'm using links because I'm not quite sure about the hosting, and have gotten into a smidget of trouble before over posting, so I'll use links to be safe.

And now for the links.
attack run 1
attack run 2
(only thing with those is that there's an assault frigate in the pic too)
Big Chig, Angry Angel

Hammerhead bottom-view
(was the bottom of the back pointy end of the Hammerhead left like that grey on purpose? it looks untextured-grey to me... I've just been curious)
Hammerhead
(same with the intake of the Hammerheads too... but really, I'm just curious)
fly by

Chig battlegroup!
Chig Battlegroup! 2

[from SugarDirt]
Earth battlegroup
Missile tracking Scout
46th going in
BIG trouble
anti-bomber run
missile mania
close call!
58th, Ambassador, Carriers
Carriers:2 on 1
[/SugarDirt]

Hammerhead battlegroup
(this is an example of what I meant, loads of Hammerheads :/ )

[I tried using Pilotview, but only got around to seeing it through a couple of the units, and took screenshots from 2)
Hammerhead attacking
Hammerhead following group
Chig bomber
[/pilotview]

Angels at angles <--stupid name, yes
128th

launched from Carrier
(like the one I posted above, but in this one it's a lot easier to see the line of Hammerheads extending back, and curved like a wave too!)
launched 3

attacking Ambassador
(or "poor negotiations!", oy)
Ambassador 2
another close call!
(though it's going after the other Hammerhead)
another anti-bomber run
successful run

ANNNNNNND......
chig carrier explosion
THE END. Image

So this is what I can contribute, since I don't know the first thing about modding!
Tho I am graduating this month, so who knows? Maybe I can learn in my spare time, which I'll have a lot more of now for about a year, providing I don't work every waking moment! Image
I need sleep. (GMT -4)

Sorry Zarkonis, I don't follow what you're saying there. Image Image

in the other thread showing off the hammer head and the transport ship alone (looked like they were out of game) .. the models were amazing.. but in game they look rather primitive... what happened?

Zarkonis thats cos there renders, highpoly models for looking purty. Ingame models have to be toned down, so that systems and the HW engines can cope with them
