This is not in any game yet, but is 90% completed as a model.

I started this mesh quite a while ago, and just now went back to finish her up. Hopefully someday it can be used in Homeworld 2 or other games like it. It's 1202 polys right now, not too bad, though I still have to make the rear turret. Interestingly, the main fuselage itself is only 680+ polys, it's the rest of the stuff (mainly missles) that almost double that.
Hope you like!

It does that; I'm just amazed it took me so many months to wander in and see it... sorry all!

Thanks guys. I'm glad you like it. Took long enough to get off my arse and finish it! I'll work on more ships if I'm able.

Wow. Im speechless, Jeff. If that is what it will look like in game, Ide have to say that it might possibly the best looking ship for the Homeworld series to date!

Nice job!

It should be close. Those shots do have a couple lights on it with shadows, but in a game those textures are gonna be what makes it or breaks it and I think they will hold up.

Jake! Good to see you again. Lets keep this board semi-lukewarm shall we? S:AAB is pretty dead everywhere else.

Likewise! Yep, I agree its pretty much dead elsewhere. I have no probs keeping up with this forum for anything S:AAB related.

Especially your work. :D

Come to think of it, Ide love to find a place that would host the S:AAB site for free. Ide need about 100 meg of space though :( Ide probably call it something different though. Something like S:AAB mods or something as I wouldnt mind taking a shot at mapping some of the sites from the show for UT2K4. Speaking of which, Im going to be releasing the first beta version of my current map over the weekend of the 20 to 22 of this month. Bet on the 21st though. Maybe Ill post a thread about it here at TGU when I do.

That is a very good model there Jeff. HW2 allows much larger texture maps so a 1024x512 or two will help keep all the excellent details you have added...
