HW2 poly limits

I know it's probably way too early to ask this but maybe someone might know- what would be the poly limit available in Homeworld 2 for fighters? Would 1000+ be too much? I know that there would be a lot of fighters onscreen so 1000 would add up quick. Any thoughts?

The basic Hiigaran Interceptor has over 600 polys and the fully Goblin'd Attack Bomber over 1000 so I would suggest that 1000 for fighters is quite acceptable. And for the large capital ships several thousand polys are the norm. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I suppose thats why they have unit caps so it doesn't matter about poly limits.

Probably also the reason they have goblins, so people with lower-end systems can turn off the extra details... [img]smile.gif[/img]
