I think a lot of teams suffer from the 'leadership syndrome'. I guess some people prefer it that way. I can find the time to do some modeling I think. Shouldn't be too difficult really. You still not into the importing into HW then, J8472?

Nope. Instead of doing the smart thing and learning this and that about homeworld modding, I plugged away at Dreamweaver and SWiSH. If I knew what I know about both programs in the regards to homeworld modding, I would have finished the project myself. LOL. If you feel like doing a ship, I have some material here in regards to the Chig Sentry Satellite. Its in the Defender slot. I am going to take some screenies from the DVDs too. The Sentry was seen in 2 episodes, so I should be able to get some good shots of it.

And Satan is right in a way. Most of the original HW modders migrated to a game that should have had all the right fixins for modding, and it didnt. All in all, it would be difficult at best for new HW modders to attain the knowledge that 'The First Ones' have. Just another reason why Im glad that Crook volunteered to add to the project.

@Maxdamage
I dont understand. Why didnt you put the link in the, um, Homeworld mods section? Instead its on a page that has no relation to Homeworld mods.

I could never finished my HW1 mod due to runtime errors with the various programs.My mods files are gathering virtual dust sitting in the c:\sierra folder waiting for me to try and finish it.Alxso I must be really stupid to think one day I'll be able to finish my proper mod for HW2.

***Update***

Ive went ahead and started adding a new section to the website called the Show Section. I dont have much finished, but I do have the first 11 episodes finished in the Episode Guide section. Check it out as it will really fill newbies of the show in on what it was all about.

Like the old lady said when she peed in the ocean " every little bit helps"

Ok lemme give ya what I got you pick whatcha need

The old MOD down load

The new mod down load

most of the tools

3Dspace but Im not so sure it will work any more cause I had to do some serious house cleanin and thus most of it was wiped off (Im lookin for the disk)

some type of MILKSHAPE...???

Editors out the wazzuu....(I think this falls under toools)
{most of which I never figured out how to use or make work}

Anyway, I gotta lotta ships I tinkered with to get them to fly right and not look so clunky.And Weapons I enjoy Weapons I think Weapons Fire and Hits are important.

ooOOOOoooo....I just found some old B5 ships too!

Star Trek ...Star Wars ...Pirate stuff...

OK well I was just figurin out how to do textures and things like that when my ship capsized inna hurricain

Im sorta likea start from scratch kinda guy and Id like ta help get this SAAB mod to flying.

Most of this stuff is OLD so I have ta sit down and really think about how ta get it ta work again...kinda tinker and tweek...

PS...the stuff is on another drive not able to be connected so I gotta wotk at this

No, homeworld 2 works in an entirely different way, modding wise. Also, when it says the mod isn't made for singleplayer, it means that there hasn't been a campaign made for the mod. Skirmish works fine of course, but that's not included in the singleplayer reference there.
