New way to make capships rarer

What about having various types of shipsyard. Like say to build an ISD you would need a shipyard which can handel ISD, maybe also have shipyards for each type of capships, since no single ship type are the same demensions as another so would each need different yards to be built it. This could 1 make people think of what ships they want to build better, and also give a new strategy lvl to the game. Also shipyards should be expensive, the more yards you have the more ships you can build at the same time.

ShipYards will be in need of suppy each turn, as well as other buldings.

well i think tahtw ould require to many different buildings, but i mean fighter yard, cap yard, heavy cap yard and super cap yard, and from things i have read different yards could build more than one type, this will make them rarer, if u also take into account long build times for the heavies.

I think I posted one idea about ship construction too. Basically, as a summary :
- fighters have their own type of production, with possibile specialisation and chain production
- shipyards have different sizes (maybe even just meters, the more meters the higher the price). A bigger yard can always produce a smaller ship, but it'll be a waste of space. One ship per yard only. And yards would also be used for regular maintenance operations. If you build the same ship type on the same yard again, you'll save some money and some time because you'll be able to reuse the same scaffolds.

I still think it's a brilliant one too, because you might centralize your super-cap yards, and it would be a tactic to try and take these planet's yard's out, so you can cripple their ship production.
