for the first campaign im saying hw1 cos really i ahve no idea how long it will take to get hw2 rady, so far we havent got that far, if we are going with hw1 we can be ready to go in a week or id say.

we would all need to discuss how to fix certain problems within the game as a group and not just me and calavan. what has brought the change of mind about, well i miss crushing rebel scum with im imperators, im sure you rebel scum miss being crushed to [img]graemlins/eviltail.gif[/img] [img]tongue.gif[/img] ;) [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

As former Trade Union Viceroy, i vote Homeworld 1. Even though i've been out of the loop long enough to officialy have no idea what's going on. Bleh, anyway...

Star Wars: Warlords, the Total Conversion for HW2 looks promising. Perhaps over time, it would be possible to create our own mod using ships from that mod.

I'm voting for homeworld 2, because if we don't just get it done it won't ever get done. The reason we had the beta camp was to give the app and everything for HW2 time to get finished. If you start a HW1 camp, you'll forget about the HW2 stuff until that one winds down. And then we'll be back where we started.

Perhaps for this first camp, we can use HW1, then those of us who really want to get the HW2 mod squared away can do it on the side as we're all vying for control of the universe. At least, that's how it used to be I believe.

I know it wouldn't be very realistic but would it be possible, in the homeworld 2 GCO mod, to include ships from the Confederacy of Independant States as well as the Old Republic? I'm sure you all know how I feel about my Trade Fed Ships [img]smile.gif[/img] Just an idea.

so what your asking is that you get your own shiplist? trade fed ships might make a appearance as pirates or something but we will have to see. Only thing about hw1, erm, wont install on my computer anymore [img]graemlins/eekus.gif[/img]

Well no, not my own ship list per se, but just the addition of two more factions in the homeworld 2 mod ^^ I hear that adding more or less selectable 'organizations' in HW2 is much, much easier than it is in Homeworld 1. For example, instead of just the Vyger and the Hiigarrans, you could say.... make a mod that had The Vyger, Hiigarans, Bentusi, Kadeshi et cetera, et cetera in the multi-player department. What i'd propose is, in the GCO HW2 mod, add in the two prequel sides as well. So you could have the Old Republic, the Empire, The Confederacy and the Rebellion all duking it out. Ever since I saw Episode I, such a scenario always got me grinning ^^

Of course, it would be more work to do but I think that in the end it would be well worth the effort for the future camp 2. It is though, just an Idea [img]smile.gif[/img] It's pretty obvious that i'd go separatist but it wouldn't be a ship list made exclusively for me, that would just be downright selfish.

Just throwin' ideas out there.
