First off, I should say that this is not officially part of ITL at the current time. Just some screwing around I've been doing today:

Yea, Ok
Is it like that for real, 15 torps and all?

According to the guy who designed it for First Contact, the Akira was supposed to have 15 torpedo tubes. (Although I can count at least 21 on this particular model... ;) ) Just figured it might be fun to give that a shot in the dreadnought slot...

Oooh... this was something that was mooted for TW; are you keeping the fire-arcs to a minimum?

Hadn't really gotten that involved in it yet, G... ;) Certainly, in the couple of test runs I've done, it's been pretty clear that the quantum launcher (located right under the deflector dish) needs to be toned down in arc, but that's because I stole it off the Sovereign... ;) And the aft and side ones will need pretty wide arcs to do anything at all...

Ah, well the original TW was intended to be a more measured approach to fleet conflict - rather than the build-and-blast frenzy of a lot of other Homeworld mods.

Highly ambititious; and also highly-rewarding when you get it working
