Well, against my better judgement, I'm tinkering with a new ETG folder for The Wounded. So far, it seems to be SLIGHTLY more reliable than the current one... :/

Here's a couple of shots of the Excelsior (note that the first one was taken before I added the TWOK-style phasers in):

And the Ambassador:

It's looking pretty good. Me like. Image

Question: Are you adding in the Steamrunner? I hope not; I hate it when people say that it's of the same era as the Ambassador because its hull shape and features clearly indicate that it's in the Sovvie's era.

I can't wait till the mod's released.

I like the look of the Excelsior stuff, but not the Ambassador's phasers, they look too flat and boring to me.

Manticore: nope, no Steamrunner. While the only known registry number does predate that of the Galaxy-class ships, the design just looks way too "new" for me to believe as a pre-TNG design.

Meurig: well, this is the phaser from the latest SoA release, and as such is probably the "Type 12" or whatever, hence a different effect than what I would probably use if I had a choice. Image Something more TNG-like would be nice, but as I have no skillz to make it myself I'm sort of hosed... Image

its all a matter of a simple texture alteration, if i have reference to what a pre-tng phaser looks like i can prolly pull it off.

Wow! Looking excellent there Pierce.

The only complaint I have is the Excelsior phasers. They look, at least from my perspective, like the Defiant pulse phasers. Perhaps making them a little bit longer maybe?

Other than that, looks kewl!

The TWOK phaser effect seen here is rather unoptomized. This version is actually an attempt to remove the effect a bit from Spooky's SAAB railgun effect. I will have to try changing the bullet length, as I think AstroMat may be right... Image
