I just read this thread and im bringing the good news here. RDN is being updated for the release of HW2 modding tools, AND the Homeworld/Cat engine! I guess the boys at relic decided that the hw engine is obsolete now. Think of what we could do :D

Seperate shield/health meters?

Customized flight characteristics?

basically it means we can do WHATVER the hell we want with HW-1 once we get the SDK...

I'm thinking maybe of learning how to program and do an Allegiance type game...wouldn't that be fun?

ill let u know now that programming isnt very easy unless its a vary basic language, and coding games isnt any easier then making apps, u just use more GUI/d3d stuff. but if ur good with code then u can go far, far i tell u, like an airplane... lol
