How, exactly do I install it multiple times, Cap'n? Not to sound stupid, but I only recently started 'getting into' things like Homeworld mods.

Fender: click on the release poster, then look for the link that says "RA Mod page" in the first "Research Report" entry on the main page.

Paladin: put your Homeworld CD in the drive, bring up Windows Explorer, right-click on the icon for your CD drive, and select "explore." When you get the listing of files on the CD, double-click on "HWSetup.exe." Then, just specifiy an install directory with a name different from your current install. I have at least four each of Homeworld and Cataclysm, I don't even know anymore... Image

Or the simpler approach for multiple installs: Simply copy the homeworld folder. Image

That's both quicker and easier, since you don't even need the CD in the drive and requires only a click of the mouse. All you have to do afterworths is to make a shortcut to the new install, if you so desire.

Yeah! I'll try just as soon as I finish my 10 page research paper on Einstein. I know this probably isn't alot for those of in college, but it's a college level class and I'm only a freshman.

You could probably implement that ion fire effect into HW you know, it would certainly look good.

Because we decided that, given the Raiders' somewhat limited resources in terms of ship-building, they wouldn't have an actual destroyer-class hull. The missile destroyer is based on a carrier hull, and the destroyer on a frigate hull. Just trying to mix things up a little bit... Image
