Yes, somehow the RA team has had our second web host in a year go tits-up on us. Image

So, the website is gone. (On their website, they claim that sites will be up until they officially go out of business at the end of the month. This is a bald-faced lie. And it was SO nice of them not to email anyone this notice that they put on their website. Image )

We will keep you posted as we begin the search for a new host. Not sure yet how this will affect the planned release of RA 0.6 in the next couple of weeks, but we should be able to find somewhere to host that if we can get it done.

Well, I was intending to talk to someone here about at least partial hosting... the problem is that the site is rather large, and indeed CommanderJones has had plans to make it larger, but said plans could I'm sure wait... anyway, we do need to talk... Image

It does seem to be back up at the moment, but there's no telling how long that will last... :/

Well, I'm told the entire site runs about 75MB... before re-uploading we'll be taking a look at it and trimming some of the deadwood, so we can probably drop a little bit off that...

We also currently already have a domain (well, two, actually, but our first "official" webhost hijacked the first one when they went out of business); would it be a possibility to continue using that?

Once I'm back at home (on my mother-in-law's dialup connection with my laptop at the moment; man, I'd forgotten how much I hated 56K... Image ) I'll give you a yell, Tex... Image
