Eye texture added, flashing lights textured properly, skirt coloured separate to the body, chrome improved and the main colour has changed yet again, I'm going to leave it as is and see how it looks after I've painted some dirt and discolouration maps onto the skirt instead of keep changing it now.

Work progresses - heres how it stands. I think the only things left to alter are the copper-ish hip bit and the bumper at the bottom.

Finished Image

I'm going to make a black + gold emporer version like they had in the old series, then pack it up and release it for download at LWG.

I wouldn't want to run into one of those in an unlit alleyway. Heck, I wouldn't want to run into one anywhere. Except maybe with me being inside the Tardis.

Hey, that's an idea for your next project maybe, a high detail TARDIS. I think the textures would be the toughest part of that one, though the interior might present its challenges too.

Nice job M.

I made a jump gate this evening.

http://www.lwg3d.org/forums/showthread.php?p=100057500

I've got a few things left to do to the Dalek, a mech to finish modelling, four mechs to texture, an alien character to finish, two farscape ships to make, two original fleets to make for my uni film, several humans to make for the same film, as well as various sets and stuff for that, not including the animation needed once everythings modelled.

No real time for other projects for a while ;)

Cant wait to see the old show version, the black ones. Oh and i downloaded them two animations of the dalek but they wont play and i have divx6 pack and codec installed as well as xvid incase it was that. Do you use a different codec?

Oh and the jumpgate is nice btw.

Dalek finished and released here...

http://www.lwg3d.org/v3/meshes.php?item=690

Including low and high detail versions of both the black and gold versions.

LWG just announced that this month has a Farscape & Stargate image competition using hosted meshes, so my plans have changed, and the Scarran Dreadnought is back to being top priority!

And no Skeeter, theyre both DIVX 6.
