I'm still here peeps, although a changed man...not really. I've been away due to medical reasons, operations and the unfortunate inability to sit down properly (don't ask). I'm recovering well it would seem but I can't be bothered to go into detail right now...just the nitty gritty and the hard work. As some may know I've been fiddling the FS2 mod for HW1 and so far it going great. Both sides are pretty much done (r1's and r2's), the weapons pack is pretty much done but may need tweaking still and the texture corruption doesn't seem to be an issues at the moment, yay! The p1's are now the NTF - 'Neo Terran Front', while the p2's are now the Vasudan Rebels...lots of Vasudan ships basically. Single player mode seems to go as far as mission 8 or so (with no proplems) but I think it could go all the way. I'm gonna re-balance a few things ut so far things are going rather better than expected. Oh, this version of the mod may still not be released to everyone, still need to figure out the issues of that one. The way the mod plays at the moment is that the fighters are great at killing each other and fighter bombers (replacing the corvette slots). Fighter bombers are great at assisting fighter attack groups and bombing capital ships to bits. Caps ships are great for killing each other and anything else big...simple. it no longer a case of salvaging every cap ship you see this can't. You have to slug it out or run. During single player mode I'm trying to stick that principle but you can still salvage cap-ships from P-races if necessary. So, if you see a huge Shivan Juggernaut infront of you, you have to have a pretty hefty assault force to take it out.

P.S. The Bentusi Trade ship is no more...its now a Vasudan Carrier ship (the one from the HW:C FS2 mod)

Oh, just remembered...the P2 multibeam frigate on Earth do you make if work like a normal bloomin' frigate? If this can't be sorted the Raiders slot (p1's) will become the Vasudans while the p2's will become the may make more sense anyway since the NTF are more of a threat the FS2 game...hmmm.

Are you sure you couldn't do just a little release? ;)

Anyway this sounds pretty cool. Sorry to hear about your medical problems, get well soon!

I'm very glad to hear that you are recovering very well. Your health are MORE important than your mod itself, and we are very relief and glad to hear that you are doing alright!
