Intel Pentium 4 3.65 GHz
1024 MB Kingston...or Corsair....I've forgotten....RAM DDR2
ATI Radeon X800 XT 256MB DDR3 memory
Samsung....I think....200GB 7200RPM (more like 190GB though including cache space)

Btw anyone know where I can get a good clocking program? I'd like to soup my rig up a bit more if possible.

Clocking program? What do you mean?

My computer:

AMD Athlon64 3000+ O/C'd to 3500+ speeds
MSI K8N Neo2 Platinum (nForce3 Ultra) motherboard
1GB CL-2.5 DDR533 OCZ RAM (2x512 in dual-channel configuration)
BFG GeForce6800 OC (currently at 390/840 clock)
16 DVD±RW DL capable NEC-3500A DVD drive
16x12x40 CD-RW (old)
InWin Q500 server tower case (7.9"x23.6"x17.1" with drives 5x5.25", 1x3.5", 5x3.5" internal)
HDDs: 8 partitions, 9 physical drives</font>
  • 2x80GB 8MB cache WD drives in RAID0 (C, D, F - system & applications)</font>
  • Another 2x80GB 8MB cache WD drives in RAID0 (O - high-speed storage)</font>
  • 2 old drives in a JBOD (E - storage)</font>
  • 200GB Hitachi (N - storage)</font>
  • ~15GB old drive in a mobile rack mount (X - transfer)</font>
  • 160GB Samsung (Z - backup)</font>
  • Total size: 740GB (millenia of 1024 like Windows counts) or 760GB (millenia of 1000 like HDD manufactures count)</font>
  • Total free: 141GB</font>
2005fpw 20" Dell widescreen LCD in the mail
Sennheiser HD280 circumaural professional monitoring headphones

Curse beats me on memory, Hed may best me slightly on processor (although my near-exact setup has been tested to stable o/cs over FX-5 speed, I've just been to lazy to push it there yet) and slightly on the video card.

I'm waiting for someone to beat my HDDs :D

My desktop fried a couple of months ago. *sigh*

All I have currently is my laptop:

P4 3.0Ghz HT
System Bus 800Mhz
120 GB 7200RPM HDD
128Mb NVIDIA GeForce FX Go 5700
CD/DVD +/- RW: 10X Read, 24X Write, 10X Rewrite, 8X DVD
Internal Speakers w/ Subwoofer
Full Keyboard/Numpad
17" TFT Active Matrix

Not the most top of the line but it can play HL2 without hardly any slowdowns. Since I didn't have my desktop then either I had to use my laptop.

I am going for a new desktop, hopefully within the next couple of months:

>AMD 64 FX 55 2.6Ghz Integrated FSB
>Plextor 12X DVD+/-RW Drive
Write Speed: 12X DVD+R, 4X DVD+RW, 8X DVD-R, 8X DVD-RW, 48X CD-R, 24X CD-RW
Read Speed: 48X CD-ROM, 16X DVD-ROM
Interface: SATA
>6 x Western Digital Raptor 74GB 10,000RPM SATA
>ASUS "A8N-SLI Deluxe" nForce4 SLI Chipset
>Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series 4GB (4x1Gb) DDR PC-3200 SDRAM
>Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS GAMER LE
>2 x nVIDIA GeForce 6600GT Video Card
Chipset/Core Speed: nVIDIA GeForce 6600GT/550MHz
Memory/Effective Speed: 128MB GDDR3/1120MHz
BUS: PCI-Express x16
Support SLI(Scalable Link Interface): Yes
>680W Thermal Take Silent Pure Power Supply

It'll be a beast so I'm going with watercooling on this one; dual pump parallel configuration with two dual pass low pressure drop radiators from DangerDen. One pump/radiator cools the video cards and the other cools the cpu/chipset. Using 120mm Sunon fans on the two radiators with a max airflow of 108 CFM. Also having two fans with the Power Supply, a case blower (PCI) in the back, maybe another in the front, with a ThermalTake 80mm 46~53 CFM intake fan.

Also planning on buying a Proxima C180 LCD Projector when I get this new desktop... the idea of a wall for a screen is very aesthetically pleasing to me. ^.~

Processor: P4 3.0GHz
Ram: 1024MB DDR2 (I think) 2x512MB for Dual Channel
Video Card: PCI Express X800 XT 256MB DDR3
Optical Drives: x56 CD-ROM x16 DVD-ROM
Hard Drives: Samsung 7200rpm 40GB Networked 30GB Drive
Monitor: The crappiest piece of crap imaginable, 14 inch but less viewing area because it is so curved, so old you can just about see it refreshing, goes into standby randomly, displays crap occasionally, proper monitor blew :(

I’m currently saving to get a good monitor possibly TFT, after that it will be either more/bigger hard drives or a processor

Once I have a new monitor I will get my old PC up and running. It I will use for surfing and storage/crap with my new PC used exclusively for things that require performance.

RAM: 1024 MB
Graphics: Geforce 6800 128 DDR RAM

200Gb ATA

Ok, I'm beat in most categories, but I still rule in total HD space :D

1Ghz Athlon
128MB Radeon 9200
29GB HD space
Sound Blaster 16
17 Inch CRT monitor with max resolution of 1280x1024
Annoying cable&ball mouse and keyboard.

You know, a few years ago it was the envy of the whole block. Now I have to get by purchasing games like Startopia from ebay, and asking people in school what Half Life 2 and Nexus are like... :D
