The TCS Lexington from WC4 is a Concordia class, which was brand new at the start of the war.

by Chevieblazer » Mon Sep 19, 2005 6:18 pm

that's true. according to wc tech readouts, the wc3/4 carriers(along with most other wc3-4 confed ships) are apparently dating from before the war

by Kassad » Sun Sep 18, 2005 6:51 pm

Hmm. So this is WC1. I remember the Lexington- style carriers being in WC3&4. Havent seen them in WC1.

by Chevieblazer » Sun Sep 18, 2005 2:49 pm

the fighting style will be like wc1.
the morning star strike bomber is a wc2 ship though, so no, propably not. and there isn't anything the ms can carry the broadsword can't ;)

This mod is looking really nice.
I wonder how the battles will be. In WC1 and WC3(and WC4 and 5 IIRC) fighters could destroy Capships with their guns. In WC2 the only way to penetrate the capships' shield were fighter-based torpedoes or the neutron guns abord other capships. I'd prefer WC2 style...
And another question. Will the Morningstar find its way in? You know the fighter with that unguided NUKE

hehe, if you say i'd need a girlfriend, you know anybody who'd want the job

These days, given all the information that game developers want to cram into their model formats, and particularly given the sort of high-res textures that games can use, a single ship can easily turn into a 2MB+ download. You really don't have a choice but to work that hard... ;)

i have problems with the login to the admin section (you gave me the link so i could give sarty access)
and i don't have an ftp program.

apart from that, the mod alone will rake a lot of space. the latest release from the ST mod was 413 megs!
