 no problem, same here, actually. which is why i'm looking for a mission scriptor

by Kassad » Mon Sep 26, 2005 10:47 am

Sorry, but after I looked through the manual I come to the conclusion thats there is too much scripting involved to do it right now. :(
Im quite busy with my studies so learning a new script language is a no-go for me, sorry.

that would be awesome!

@ viper: good you're not a rattlesnake, or you'd never quit lurking :D

Well, guess I'd better quit lurking about here and post a bit. Great work with all of this, though I must admit, having never played the first two games that I'm more of a fan of the fighter designs from the later games. Nevertheless, this is a great initiative and once you release something playable, I will definately be downloading it. :D

Hmm. I' ll have a look at the modding manual.

all those meshes and texutres were made/applied in max. i tend to use lw as little as i can.
what we really need is a mission scriptor. would you mind a try?

Too bad that Im only experienced in 3D Max :(

here you see a snakeir scrambling fighters, which also gives a pretty good view of the hriss heavy fighter
the last pic for today show a first glimpse of the plasma cannon turret, an alternative to the neutron turret. it has a much higher riring rate, but also does a lot less damage
